Managed IT service is the practice of fully or partially outsourcing the migration, implementation, maintenance, and upgrade of the different parts of IT infrastructure (including backup and security) to a third-party vendor who typically operates remotely or even from an offshore location.
In a managed service arrangement, the managed service provider retains responsibility for the functionality of the IT service and equipment, and the customer typically pays a monthly fee for receipt of the service.
Imagine several months passing without having to worry about an IT-related issue. No hassles over software updates or integration, no frustration around downtime and no lost sleep over a security breach. You’re away from the office, feeling confident that your company’s complete IT infrastructure is being fully taken care of.
